IIPH Gandhinagar has a well-established research lab that focuses on microbiological, molecular epidemiological, and immunological aspects of public health issues such as cancer, maternity and child health, infectious diseases, one-health, and noncommunicable diseases. In addition, the IIPHG has a specialised teaching laboratory for students studying microbiology and environmental health.

Library
IIPH Gandhinagar has a well-maintained library. The IIPHG provides ample space for reading and writing. IIPH Gandhinagar library has a large collection of books, academic reports, CDs and DVDs, thesis, internship reports and photo albums. The library also has a subscription to journals and magazines. Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) subscribers have access to a number of other periodicals.
Sports
IIPH Gandhinagar has several indoor and outdoor sports facilities. IIPHG provides sports facilities for indoor sports like carrom, table tennis, chess, etc. It also has facilities for outdoor sports like football and badminton.
I.T Infrastructure
IIPH Gandhinagar has a well-maintained IT infrastructure. It manages and controls the networking of the entire IIPHG campus.
Boys Hostel
Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar has a boys’ hostel. It has single occupancy hostel rooms with a private balcony and attached toilet and bathroom. The IIPH Gandhinagar hostel has separate wings for male students. The IIPHG hostel premises has automatic lifts and are well connected with academic and administrative blocks. The IIPH Gandhinagar boys’ hostel premise is guarded round the clock by male security guards.
Girls Hostel
IIPHG has a girls’ hostel on the campus premises. It offers single occupancy hostel rooms equipped with all the basic amenities. Female students have separate wings at the hostel. The IIPHG hostel includes automatic lifts and is well connected with academic and administrative blocks. Female security guards are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the IIPH Gandhinagar girls' hostel.

Cafeteria
IIPH Gandhinagar has a canteen connected with the hostel, the dining area provides healthy and nutritious meals three times a day. The dining area of IIPHG is spacious, well-lit and airy and it serves as an engaging venue for student discussions.
Auditorium
Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar has a large and spacious auditorium. Events like conferences, cultural programmes, seminars, debates, plays, etc are conducted in the IIPH Gandhinagar auditorium.
Gym
Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar provides gym facilities for both boys and girls students. The gymnasium has a trainer to guide the students.
