Sports activity in KIIT is facilitated by KIIT Stadium, 12 Sports Complexes with swimming pools and Indoor Stadiums distributed in different campuses. The university also has facilities for indoor games. The stadium, which can seat 40,000 spectators, has facilities for Cricket, Hockey, Kabaddi, Football, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Throwball, Basketball, Rugby, Handball, Netball and Track & Field (400 m). KIIT’s sports facilities also include a Central Indoor Stadium – Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium that has facilities for Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Billiards & Snooker, Chess, Carom, Health Club, 12 Station Multi-gym and Yoga Centre.

The canteen at KIIT serves delicious multi-cuisine food including soft and hot drinks, snacks and ice creams. The university has a total of 15 food courts specialising in cuisines from different parts of the world. The food menu of KIIT University includes Odia, South Indian, Chinese and continental dishes.

The university has a Central Convention Centre Complex houses a world-class auditorium having a seating capacity of 1600. Various functions, programmes and conferences of the university are conducted in these auditoriums.
