Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar

The library at Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences has a unique collection of approximately 2350 hardbound books covering various disciplines within the realm of veterinary and animal sciences. Additionally, it offers access to 694 e-books and e-journals of both national and international repute. 

The institute provides hostel accommodation for its girls students with facilities like gas connection, furniture, TV with cable connection, leading newspapers and magazines, and solar water heating system. In addition to this, EPABX phone facilities are also available such as incoming calls facilities, and the hostel has water coolers equipped with aqua-guard technology to provide safe drinking water. The management of each hostel is overseen by two appointed wardens.  

Equipped with as same facilities as that of a boys hostel, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences also provides girls hostel facilities. These hostels are also equipped with a mess facility.

Located on campus, there exists a fully equipped hospital having a capacity of 50 beds. Within its premises, a team of medical professionals including physicians, gynecologists, surgeons, and dentists is readily available. This establishment ensures the provision of medical assistance to students, staff, and other trainees on a 24/7 basis.

LUVAS Hisar has 18 departments that are equipped with exceptional laboratory facilities and sufficient infrastructure to support both undergraduate and postgraduate education and research.

Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS) has an auditorium facility to conduct various events and seminars. 

The university provides a clean, hygienic and well-furnished canteen for the students, staff and the faculty.

To ensure the physical fitness of the students, LUVAS Hisar offers gym facilities for the students. The gym at the campus is equipped with all the necessary equipment. 

Sports facilities are provided at the Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. Both indoor and outdoor games facilities are there at the campus including grounds for cricket, volleyball, and others. In addition to this carom, badminton, and chess facilities are also available. 

The LUVAS University has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members. The rooms are equipped with all the necessary facilities required for a comfortable stay.
