Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda

The University Library is being used as a University Library, and it functions with the main objective of catering to the information needed by teachers and students to process their academic and research activities. Even though it is a small library in its initial stage, it has formulated sections for the acquisition of books, a stack room, a technical reference section, a periodical, and a newspaper section. The library also provides the necessary material for competitive examinations, and it is accessible to all the teachers, non-teachers, and bona fide students of the University. The library has a total collection of 31005 volumes and 8794 titles. It subscribes to 69 National Journals, 1 International journal, and 13 SAGE e-Journals.

The University has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Two spacious hostels for men have been constructed, and the residential facility has been provided to more than 1200 students in these hostels.

The University has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. One spacious hostel for Women has been constructed, and the residential facility has been provided to more than 1200 students in these hostels.

The University has New Gym facilities that have been provided on the Arts University campus.

The university has a total strength of 2000 in all courses put together. It frequently conducts faculty-wise seminars, student meets, placement programs, and other curricular & co-curricular activities to have a busy academic atmosphere on the campus. Whenever such big programs are conducted, the seminar hall accommodates 1000 audiences at a time, so that the conferences, students' meetings, cultural programs, and other curricular and co-curricular activities can be organized on the campus without much difficulty. Conference Hall: The university frequently conducts faculty meetings, departmental meetings, and other programs. In this connection, the conference hall accommodates 100 people at a time, so that conferences, staff meetings, and other activities can be organized on the campus without much difficulty.

The university has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. Health care facilities are made available to all the students and staff on the campus by starting a Health center with one lady doctor. Specialist doctors from the Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospitals (Narketpally) are made available for attending Medical emergencies. Medicines are available in the health center for the students and staff.

The university has good networking for the alumni association.

The university has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The University has a Well-furnished Classroom facility available on campus.

The University Placement season runs through the course of the year, commencing the last week of July through to March. Placement Talks are also held in this regard as convenient to both parties. The Placement Cell makes announcements regarding job offers, the times and locations of interviews, candidate selection, etc. The bulk of our students were placed in a variety of companies, including Heterovdrugs, Ltd., MSN Laboratories, Dr. Reddy's, Bharath Biotech, Shantha Biotech, Dell, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Cognizant, etc., via the placement cell at MGU.
