Mount Tabor Training College, Pathanapuram

The college has a well-equipped hostel for women on the campus, which can accommodate 116 students. The ambiance of the hostel ensures a homely feeling for the students. The hostel has a warden and is under the control and supervision of the Principal.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a fully equipped library with more than 12221 volumes. The library is fully computerized. The reference itself includes more than 600 volumes and 12 encyclopedias. The Library also subscribes to more than 14 Educational Journals and 10 periodicals. Our library has been subscribing to Nlist (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) since 2010. The N-LIST project provides access to e-resources to students, researchers, and faculty of our college through server(s) installed at the INFLIBNET Centre. The teachers are authorized to use the facility with the password given to them. The students will have to contact the Librarian for authorization which will be valid for the whole duration of the course. The authorized users access e-resources and download articles required by them directly from the publisher’s website. More than 3000 journals can be accessed.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Indoor Games and Outdoor Games Facilities are available.

The college has a well-furnished computer lab with 25 PCs and a printer connected to a LAN. The lab is equipped with a 3Kv UPS to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. It provides internet access through high-speed broadband connectivity. Internet facility is provided in the computer lab and in the departments to provide the Staff and students access to the enormous web resources. Students are divided into small groups and given a special timetable for computer class so that each student gets sufficient time to use the computer. The lab is open from 9 am to 5 pm. There is a computer class every morning and evening and a guest faculty member is appointed by the management to handle computer classes.
