Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre, Thrissur

NCERC Thrissur Men’s Hostel can accommodate around 300 students. Deluxe and semi-deluxe rooms are available. Well-arranged and spacious mess halls and kitchens meet all the demands of inmates in time without any compromise on hygiene. Various recreational facilities are also made available here.

The College ladies' hostel block ‘A’ is named after Kamala Kaul Nehru, wife of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. This block can house 300 students and the ‘B’ block of women’s hostel is named after our illustrious former Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi. This block can accommodate around 100 students. Air-conditioned rooms are available for students on a first come first serve basis. The hostel block ‘C’ is named after Kasturba Gandhi, wife of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. This hostel can accommodate 500 students and various recreational facilities are made available for all the hostlers.

NCERC Thrissur has a health centre with a first aid facility for the students. The medical centre of the college is capable of handling minor emergency cases. 

The college Fitness Center houses an ultra-modern gymnasium, catering to the needs of fitness enthusiasts. Staff and students use the gymnasium under the guidance of professional trainers.

The college Central Library is located on the ground floor of the Brahmagupta block and is the real centre of learning. The library has a rich collection of books on different domains of science and technology, journals, periodicals, and other printed materials besides audio, visual, and electronic information services and media workshops. The library is also digitalised to meet the most advanced information requirements, fully automated with software and equipped with 64 MBPS internet connectivity for easy and fast access.

NCERC Thrissur has sports facilities for all students. There are various sports available for students, such as football, badminton, cricket and others.  

The college computer lab provides a central facility for the growth and development of the college. The Internet Lab provides installation & maintenance of servers for Internet access, e-mailing, and other computational facilities. The Internet Lab has high-end computational servers on which accounts are given to students and staff on the campus. The lab has several versions of Linux and Windows-based operating systems.

NCERC Thrissur has a canteen that is the most vibrant rendezvous where the students freely share views and feelings with their friends. It is, indeed, an integral part of student life on the campus.

The college has an auditorium facility within the college campus Students and members acn use the auditorium of college to organise events and seminars.

The college provides a transportation facility for both students and the staff. There are more than 40 buses, both AC and non-AC, to take care of the students’ traveling requirements which cover most of the Thrissur, Palakkad, and Malappuram districts. Senior staff members are provided with a special transportation facility.

NCERC Thrissur has a departmental-laboratory facility for the students such as a Digital Electronics Lab, Linear Integrated Circuits Lab, Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab, Electrical Machines Lab, Power Electronics and Devices Lab, Electric Drives Lab, Instrumentation and Control Lab, and others.,

The college has an ATM counter of Punjab National Bank Ltd functions at the Main Entrance of the college. Students pay their fees through the bank and the staff draws their salaries from the bank. Besides staff and students, the public can avail themselves of banking facilities.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members. The guestrooms are well furnished and have wardrobes, beds, and others for convenience.

NCERC Thrissur has good networking for the alumni association. The college invites alu,mni to motivate current students for future purposes.

The college also provides training and placement opportunities for all the students. The cell invites top recruiters to conduct interview of final-year students and recruit them as per the open job positions.

NCERC Thrissur has a classroom facility for students. The classrooms are well designed to provide an excellent learning environment for students.
