The College Hostel is managed by the Hostel Residents Council consisting of a Patron, Chief Warden, Wardens, Manager, Deputy Wardens, Resident Tutors, and Student Representatives. All the Residents should return to the hostel on the date of the reopening of the college. No person other than those admitted as residents of the hostel shall stay in the hostel premises. Anyone who permits outsiders into their room without permission will be expelled from the hostel. A student shall not occupy a room without an allotment. In case of emergency, residents are informed to contact Warden / Dy. Warden / Resident Tutors/hostel information service, for immediate help. Anyone falling sick is advised to make use of PSG Hospital facilities and also inform the same to Deputy Warden / Resident Tutors. Residents may use the credit facility at PSG Hospital by obtaining the credit form from the Warden / Deputy Warden / Resident Tutors before going to the Hospital.

The College has Library good & rare collection of books, journals, and magazines for students and staff members. Presently, above 43 thousand books, 69 national journals and magazines CDs / DVDs and back issues of journals are in the library. The library is automated having an online portal that can be easily accessed by the users. The library implemented PSG-ILMS which is an integrated Library Management System that supports all housekeeping operations of the library. The digital library has 21 computers with high-band speed internet connection for the academic purpose of library users. 

The College Media Lab offers a unique set of hardware and software resources to make use of new media tools. The lab is equipped with 25 systems including a server. Software like Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, iMovie, and MAT Lab are installed on all the machines.

The College Alumni Foundation, a long-felt need for a financial arm of PSG Tech Alumni Association, was registered on 19th October 2016 as a non-profit Trust under the laws of the State of Tamil Nadu. The PSG Tech Alumni Foundation was established to provide an avenue through which alumni and well-wishers of the PSG College of Technology and PSG Polytechnic College (PSG Tech) may contribute financially to PSG Tech Alumni Association in the form of gifts, grants, and bequests to the Foundation to benefit present and future students by providing scholarship assistance and the funding of special projects like PSG – GRD Science and Technology Museum and Research Centre. The Foundation’s purpose is to receive contributions from the donors and hold these contributed funds in a perpetual endowment. Only the accrued interest and/or income from the funds are expended unless otherwise designated.

The College Laboratories facility is available in the college, Physics Laboratory, Chemistry Laboratory IMultimedia Laboratory, and Computer Laboratory. Internet facilities are available for our students to enrich themselves by gathering useful information. The Multimedia laboratory provides a platform for students to develop their animation skills.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.

The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities.

The college provides good classroom facilities and ICT-Enabled features for all the students.
