RPA First Grade College, Bangalore

The College Library came into existence in 1993, and the library is housed on the ground floor in a spacious and well-ventilated block above the administrative block. With a separate reading room, a reference section, and so on, the library serves as a central information center for students and faculty members of the various departments of the college.

There are more than 12,000 books, 18 journals, 25 magazines, and 11 newspapers available for students and staff to browse through. There is also an exclusive book bank facility for students belonging to the SC/ST. These books have been provided by Bangalore University. Internet facility is available under the Scheme. It endeavors to improve upon its services by adopting the best practices and implementing them for the benefit of patrons. Collection: books, Magazines, Newspapers, journals, CDs, DVDs.

The College has two computer labs with the latest systems and internet facilities to help the students to learn computer business applications systematically. All the major software and hardware platforms have been made available to the faculty and students. Access is made possible for students to a variety of Operating Systems such as Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Linux.

The College has Physics Laboratory has four well-equipped Laboratories which can accommodate nearly 40 students to conduct experiments simultaneously, The Electronics Laboratory has a separate Laboratory with the latest equipment.

The College has provided a platform for the students to boast their talent in various cultural and Extra-Curricular activities by providing a huge open-air Auditorium that is used for conducting various events

The College Canteen provides tasty and hygienic food at moderate rates for the Staff members and Students

The College has a playground adjacent to it for conducting sports, athletic meets, and other sports-related activities whenever necessary.

The College has an annual medical examination of the students done at the health center located on the college campus.

The College has a good network for the alumni association.

The College has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
