Saint Mary's College, Shillong

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a library facility for all students. Apart from books and encyclopedias, the college library also has maps, pamphlets, CDs, DVDs, journals, and magazines. Most of these materials are meant for circulation. However, some items (rare journals and magazines) are reserved for faculty members only. Computers with CD-ROMS are made available in the library through which various educational CDs can be accessed. The College provides Internet facilities to the students and staff. The Library Awareness and Development Cell looks after the overall quality improvement of the Library. Support facilities available in the library are computers with Wi-Fi Internet connection and reprography facilities. The library's stock is regularly enhanced and current titles are procured systematically yearly. Library services are computerized through the use of library software called KOHA. The College at present is using DELNET facilities for inter-library borrowing.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College has two canteens and a Nescafe Coffee Corner that are run by private vendors on a contract basis. Students and staff of the college have access to canteen facilities before, during break time or after class hours.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The “Alumni Association of Saint Mary’s College” (AASMC), Shillong came into being on 5th September 2002 with the overwhelming participation of the past pupils of the institution from across the region. The Constitution of the AASMC was adopted on 29th May 2004 along with a FLAG and a LOGO which is in keeping with the Motto of the association “ENRICHING THE SOURCE”.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility that provides suitable student accommodation.

The college has a boys' hostel facility that provides suitable student accommodation.

The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.
