Library
The college has a convenience for the students, the college has a well-equipped central library and reading room. Apart from this, there is a provision of departmental libraries in postgraduate departments.
- Library cards are issued at the time of admission for the issuance of books. Issuance of books is possible only through a library card. In case of loss of a library card, a second library card will be issued on a deposit of Rs. 20.00. If the student does not take the library card or loses it after taking it, then the responsibility of getting the book issued from the library by someone else will be of the concerned student. In such a situation, he/she will have to deposit a penalty of 50% of the value of the issued book.
- Only one book will be issued to each student at a time for a maximum of 15 days. If the book is returned after 15 days, a late fee of one rupee per day will have to be paid.
- For issuing books, the student has to appear in person with his/her identity card and library card and submit the demand letter.
- If the book is missing, torn, or damaged, the student will have to deposit the full cost of the book.
- Under no circumstances will a book be issued to another student on another student's library card.
