The college is a hub of activities all year-round. Various programs are taken up throughout the year. Every academic year begins with team selections. The teams are formed, and practice sessions by coaches are arranged. The practice is provided by expert coaches. Besides coaching in traditional games and sports, practice sessions are held in archery and fencing. Alongside the practice regimen, matches are conducted in various games at every level, right from interclass, state, national, university, and interuniversity. SBCFGC 's Physical Education Department has made a name for itself in Handball, Throwball, Settled Badminton, and Kabaddi.

The College has a well-equipped Library & Information Centre and a separate reading room. The library, at the heart of the building, provides an ideal environment for intellectual inquiry with its multiple Study Spaces, Research Assistance, and Reading, Learning, and Instructional Resources. The User-focused facilities and services provide seamless access to resources and evaluate Scholarly information to learn and create new Knowledge. The Library caters to over 800 Students pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses and about 45 Faculty and Staff members. Digital Learning Resources and Online access to major E-Journals and E-Books on Arts, Commerce Management, and Social Sciences are available from N-LIST / e-Shodha Sindhu (UGC-INFLIBNET) Consortia. KOHA, an Integrated Library Management Software package, is used for Library operations. Qualified, experienced, and well-trained Library professionals serve the user community with excellence and assist in meeting academic and research information needs. The Library & Information Centre has a collection of more than 15,000 books, subscribes to about 15 print journals, and provides access to over 6,000+ e-journals and 31,35,000+ ebooks. The collection consists of Books, Back-volumes of Periodicals.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. The academic and non-academic programs are held in this spacious auditorium.
