The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has new editions of books covering all the fields of pharmaceutical science and related branches. There are thousands of books on the relevant topic. The institute has a subscription to various National and International Journals, magazines, and Newspapers for the latest information on research in the pharmaceutical field. The library also planning to subscribe to online journals. The college has a sports department that works in consultation with the sports committee comprising teachers and Physical Education teachers. The sports committee plans a sports schedule for each academic year. The college has a sports field for different games like cricket, football, and volleyball, including a special basketball court. Indoor sports like Shuttle Badminton, Chess, Table tennis, etc. are equally encouraged. The sports department of the college has been organizing inter-college tournaments in Basketball, volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, and Throw a ball for girls. Every year several students from the college represent Bangalore University in various disciplines of sports. Teaching staff also take an active part in sports activity, intercollegiate competitions in cricket, and shuttle badminton.

The College of Pharmacy and Vocational Studies has central instructional computing facilities which include computers connected over a network to labs and offices. The computer lab contains more than 32 personal computer systems, interconnected via a high-speed, Ethernet network. They offer a wide array of software including the latest packages for word processing, desktop publishing, and other applications. A valid ID and Network login/password are required to use/access any of the computer labs. This open student lab on the first floor of the pharmacy Building room number F3 is equipped with 32 Acer 15W60PS computers, and one HP P1007 LaserJet printer, all connected to the student network (including file and print server), email, and the Internet.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The College has academic life at the SD College of Pharmacy and Vocational Studies campus goes beyond the curriculum. All interactive sessions and interfaces with experts from the corporate world take place in the seminar hall. The seminar hall is fully air-conditioned and well-equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual and presentation tools to facilitate smooth presentations.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Pharmacology Lab, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab, Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory, Organic Chemistry Laboratory, Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, and P.G. Research Laboratory.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
