Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi

The college library is spread over two floors and has a wide variety of books, journals, e-resources etc. The artwork on the pillars of the library act as a live catalogue of popular books in each stream. The library has 23231 books, subscription of 60 magazines and 14 newspaper. There are 20022 general books, 1302 textbooks, 713 reference books and 1194 bound periodicals. The library is placed on the 2^nd and 3^rd floor. It is fully air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled.

The college has sports facilities for all students along with a playground. The college has a lush and green playground with a large open amphitheater. It is rectangular and has provisions for playing football, cricket and volleyball. It has an open gym also.

The college have one high-speed (250 MBPS) internet connection provided by University of Delhi & 2 high speed connections from MTNL with 1 GBPS bandwidth. The College provides internet facility (wireless/LAN) to its staff and students. This is available throughout the college building including hostels, canteen & mess area, auditorium, seminar rooms, classrooms, administrative floor etc.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. The college has four seminar rooms, one each on the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th floor. They have a seating capacity of 100 students. They are equipped with latest audio/video equipment and podium for conducting workshops, seminars etc. Each seminar room has a white marker board and notice boards. 

The college has a 2-floor auditorium with a seating capacity of 524. It is located on the first and second floor of the building. It is fully air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled. It has latest audio/visual equipment and lighting system.

The college has six well-equipped modern computer laboratories, two for the BMS students, two for the B.Sc. (H) Computer Science students, one for the BFIA students and one for PGDCSL students. The college has a network of 30-35 Dell and HP machines in each of the six labs. The labs are enriched with a collection of latest software like Windows, Linux, SPSS, R-Software, Android Studio, E-Views, SQL, Linux, C++, Visual Basic, Oracle, and Microsoft Office etc. In addition, these labs are equipped with Internet facility, WI-FI, Intercom, multimedia facilities, printers, scanners, CD writer, DVD writer etc.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The College has a dedicated server room with the latest configuration devices: UTM (Fortinet), Servers (HP ProLiant), WI-FI controllers, NMS, CCTV devices, Intercom & EPABX system, routers, L3 & L2 switches, 133 access points etc.  

The college provides a bus from the Rohini sec 16 metro station & Rithala metro station to the college and back. The bus timings are fixed and in tandem with the college timings.

The college has a hostel for boys with a capacity of 88. There are 24 rooms for boys in which hostel has seven (Including ground floor) floors. Hostel office is located on the ground floor of the respective hostel. Three students share each room. Every hostel resident is provided a bed with mattress, writing table with chair, wardrobe and bookshelf. Every room has an air conditioner and an attached toilet and bathroom. The housekeeping staff provided by the service provider helps in maintaining all the areas of the hostel including the rooms.

Hostel office is located on the ground floor of the respective hostel. Three students share each room. The classrooms are air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms have the latest furniture to provide the comfortable leaning environment. Each classroom has a podium that consists of the latest audio/visual equipment. Each classroom has a white marker board and notice boards.

The underground parking is located in basement of the building and is available for the staff and students. It is well lit and equipped with signages. It has six lifts that take you to the main building.
