Shillong College, Meghalaya

The college has a boys' hostel facility with 22 rooms with 70 hostellers, and each floor has common bathrooms and toilets, a kitchen, a dining hall, a storeroom, and an office. CCTV has also been installed in the hostel for the safety and security of the hostellers. The Hostel also has a Warden room, guest room, and a sitting room cum parlor room where the visitors can sit and at the same time the hostellers can spend their free time watching television. During any emergency, the Hostel has a Fire escape staircase right from the top floor to the ground floor and one emergency exit on the first floor.

The college as well as gym enthusiasts from outside, have enrolled themselves in the gymnasium under the supervision of gym instructors Shri Sunny B. Warjri and Shri P.M. Moksha.

The College Central Library is the “heart” of the learning Community of the Shillong College fraternity and caters to the needs of around 4000 students studying in 6 different streams and has a collection ranging from around 23 subjects. Besides catering to the academic needs of students and faculty members of the College, the central library also has a profound collection of reference sources such as Encyclopedias (General subjects), Dictionaries, Almanacs, Yearbooks, Census Reports, Books in Prints, Bibliographies,  Biographical Sources, geographical sources, handbooks, manuals and current sources North East Collections & E-Resources.
