Sikkim Manipal College of Physiotherapy, Gangtok

The College Health Centre provides primary healthcare to the students and staff. Resident doctors and nursing staff along with ambulances are available round the clock. In addition, the referral hospital of the University located at Gangtok provides general and specialized services. Students are covered under the MEDICARE scheme for treatment in a super specialty hospital under the university.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College Central Library, SMIMS plays a vital role in furthering the academic mission of SMIMS and facilitates the creation and dissemination of knowledge. The range of services offered by the library is comparable to the best of libraries. Besides holding an excellent print collection of over 13000 volumes of books and 116 Indian & foreign journals, it also provides access to electronic books in medical sciences, nursing, and hospital management & physiotherapy. The library offers its services to students, medical professionals, faculty members, and staff to 1470 members of SMIMS. College Library has a remarkable collection of digital documents both in physical and virtual forms and an organized Digital Library provides effective information support to the users. The library has made significant progress during 2013-14.

The College has an ultra-modern indoor sports complex and a sprawling Food Court is also a part of the complex. Various facilities available are Temperature Controlled Swimming Pool, Bowling Alley, Squash Court, Multi-Purpose Gym Hall, Yoga Room, Aerobics Room, Meditation Room, Table Tennis, Foos Ball, Carrom, Sauna Bath, Steam Bath, Badminton Court, Basket Ball Court, Auditorium and Tennis Court.

The College is fully residential. All undergraduate students are expected to stay in the hostel. Only permanent local residents are exempted. The nine-storied building houses 200 rooms. Each room is furnished with a mattress, a study table, a chair, a cupboard/shelf for each student. Every room has an attached toilet, service area and hot water facility. An exclusive dining hall with a modern kitchen and mess is also housed in the hostel building. The mess provides vegetarian / non-vegetarian meals. Dining in the mess is compulsory for all inmates of the hostel. The students will be provided with three staterooms.

The College of Canara Bank operates on campus. There are also ATM facilities of HDFC, Axis Bank and Canara bank
