The mission of the Central Library is to facilitate the creation of new knowledge through the acquisition, organization, and dissemination of knowledge resources and the provision of value-added services. The SDCH Library is taking shape and has built up a modest collection during the past 6 years. The collection is primarily related to Dentistry. The library offers services such as Circulation, Reference, Library Information Service, Reading Hall, E-Library, Internet Facility, etc. The library has been using the Librarian Ver. 6.0 is an Integrated Library Management software package with all the modules for library housekeeping operations.

Therefore SDCH encourages students’ participation in extracurricular activities like sports, cultural events, social activities, etc. This breaks the monotony of academics.
