The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The hostels for boys are functioning within the college campus with the objective of fostering fellowship among the hostellers and promoting personality traits related to the teaching profession. The mess provides vegetarian food. It is run on a dividing basis.

The college has a library facility for all students. A qualified Librarian maintains the library. It is open to staff and students from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. It is also kept open on holidays during exam periods on request from students. The open-access system is followed except for reference books. General books, Subject books, Encyclopedias, Theses, Reference books, Journals, Periodicals, and Newspapers (both Tamil and English) are made available to staff and students. A vast collection of books especially in the areas of mental retardation is available.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The college has an ICT Centre that can accommodate 25 students at a time. The center is maintained by a qualified staff, who also conducts theory and practical classes for the students. The Centre is available during and after class hours.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has sports facilities for all students. This college has playgrounds for Football, Cricket, and Hockey and courts for Tennis, Basketball, Hand Ball, Badminton, Shuttle Cock, etc. The Director of Physical Education is in charge of sports and games activities.

The college has a transport facility for students and staff. Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institution has more than 80 buses which are made available to the students and faculty members for commuting from various points in the city. All students should make use of the Transports.
