The college has a well-furnished library functioning with an impressive collection of a wide variety of specialized books in every branch of Textile, Computer and Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The library has more than 20300 Indian and foreign books and regularly subscribes to all popular journals and periodicals of academic value. About 2361 back volumes of periodicals and 1373 project reports collected since 1980 are available for reference. Electronic Media resources like Video Cassettes, CDs, Internet facilities, and computerized databases are also available.

The institute provides playgrounds and ample opportunities for the students to participate in extra and co-curricular activities for the overall development of the students. Facilities for playing football, hockey, cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, and sports are available for the students. An excellent tennis court and an indoor stadium with facilities for gymnastics exercises are also available.

The college has developed the excellent infrastructure and facilities required for providing quality technical education.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The institute operates its buses for the benefit of the students and staff for their daily conveyance and industrial visits. The buses run from the polytechnic to Bhavani, Erode, Kavindapadi, and Salem.

The Alumni Association chapters are functioning in various leading textile centers of the country to help the institute in organizing study visits, institute-industry interaction, guidance, and counseling of students in securing employment and promoting entrepreneurship.

The College has fully equipped laboratories with the latest equipment and instruments and also has state-of-the-art textile laboratories to develop effective technical skills among the students.

The co-operative store is catering to the students and staff to meet their day-to-day needs of stationery, cosmetics, refreshments, etc. The stores also facilitate the publication of textbooks and support materials by the staff authors. STD, and Xerox  Lamination facilities are also provided.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The College has Red Ribbon Club is functioning effectively in our Campus. The main objective of RRC is to conduct programs on AIDS awareness for students and also for the rural public with the help of trained student volunteers. 

The College has a Placement Cell well in advance and seeks a date for a campus interview. The reason for this is that we produce the best students in all disciplines and they leave our college with lots of ASK i.e. Attitude, Skill and Knowledge. Our success is that we produce knowledge-packed students in different disciplines of Textiles namely DTT, DTT, DTT (D&W), DTMM, DTT (MMF), DGT, DAT, and in other branches of engineering viz. DEEE, DCE courses.
