Subbaiah Institute of Medical Sciences Shimoga facilities include a well-furnished hostel, including AC rooms for comfortable living. The hostel provides a mess facility so that students can enjoy the tasty food. A TV and music facility is also available in the hostels for the students.

A separate girls' hostel is provided along with the AC and non-AC rooms for the students. Security guards are available for security at the hostel so that the students can live safely.
