The College hostel with accommodation of 750 students is available including boys, within the Polytechnic campus. Separate hostels for the 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year are available. The hostel is intended to be a ‘HOME AWAY FROM HOME’ with an academic atmosphere where the amenities like PCO, and STD are provided to have a homely environment. Study hours are provided daily for hostel inmates. The students live as one community devoted to learning.

The college library has 19,250 technical books by Indian and Foreign Authors. A large number of Indian and Foreign technical journals are available. The library also has a large collection of CDs on technical and management subjects for staff and students. Enough space is provided for students to go through Library books.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college Buses are operated by the Institute to benefit students residing in the nearby towns and villages. A sufficient number of buses are operated from Pondicherry, Tindivanam, Endiyur, Devikapuram, Mazhaiyur, Vandavasi, Arani, Cheyyar, etc., to cater to the needs of the students. A separate van is also available to transport hostel students, for treatment in the hospital, in case of emergency.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college Every department has laboratories per the curriculum with the necessary equipment. Experiments are conducted by the students covering 100% of the syllabus provided by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu.
