Vishwaksena Arts and Science College for Women, Thiruvallur

The College classroom environment is very important for the students. The size of the classroom and interior areas, the colors of the walls and flooring, the amount of light, and the room arrangement all influence the students learning.

The College for Women provides modern and sophisticated teaching facilities which are constantly upgraded. Each department at Vishwaksena Arts and Science College for Women boasts of an array of highly advanced laboratories that are sufficiently equipped with the latest instruments and apparatus. 

The College library is the backbone of a college or university's academic environment. The mission of our Library is to seek, create, communicate, and pursue knowledge with understanding, to carry out the mission of learning. The college library is well-equipped with about 3000 to 4000 reference books, periodicals, and journals.

The College's well-managed fleet of 7 buses covers all major routes within the city to provide commutation services between the college and the student's residence. Subsidized fare is charged as a welfare measure for the students. This service is offered to ensure a hassle-free and safe transportation. The number of buses will be increased, corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.

The College Sports play a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health. Keeping in view the importance of sports in today’s scientific era and their vitality in the shaping of an individual's personality and health and fitness, Vishwaksena Arts and Science College for Women lays considerable emphasis on students' participation in various games, sports, and track and field activities.

The College To coordinate the placement activities the college has a separate Placement cell Headed by Dr. C.B.Muvendhan. We work collectively with students and all heads of departments. The Staff coordinators also support all the Career Guidance and Placement Cell activities. The placement cell has an effective communication system to keep the students informed about potential job opportunities and guide them from time to time.
