The College library aims at providing access to its printed resources such as books and journals as well as electronic journals and online databases primarily for the use of faculty and staff at Model Polytechnic College. Its holdings should reflect their interests largely. The library stock is increasing at a rate of approximately 1,000 books a year. The library also subscribes to over 100 current periodicals and a range of electronic journals and databases. The library is supervised by a committee consisting of the librarian and three members of the faculty. The day-to-day running of the library is conducted by the librarian who is assisted by the library staff and trainee. Along with the e-reference facility is provided with internet connectivity.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has various clubs such as the Technology Club, Sports Club, and Arts Club which students can join based on their interests.

The college also has workshops to provide hands-on experience and practical knowledge to all students.

The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities such as NSS, etc.

The college also has a Training and placement cell that continuously strives to help students pursue their career goals by acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately attaining desired employment.
