Modern Arts and Science College, Jayankondam

The college has Central Library is spread over a floor space of about 300 sq. meters. The Central Library stocks more than 10,000 books on various subjects in medical and allied health sciences. Reputed journals, both Indian and foreign are available in departmental libraries. The total number of books in the central and departmental library runs over 10,000 titles.

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for all the students. The Department of Physics, Chemistry houses two PG laboratories and one UG laboratory with various equipment/instruments.

The college has an auditorium facility for all the events and seminars.

The college has At the canteen, dishing out menus are highly popular among students as well as staffs. Students enjoy their food in a clean, well-maintained, aesthetic, and appetizing atmosphere. Most people fondly remember their college canteen as one of their life’s high points. It is the place where they keep their creative juices flowing with hot discussions, chewing ideas, and exchanging and sharing strongly held opinions and eatables. A variety of hygienic food and snack items includes a Variety of Rice, Cakes, Fresh Juices, Fruits, and Ice cream. The canteen has become a welcome break for both the students and staff and is the daily hob-nob after college hours. The canteen is the lifeblood of the students. The homely atmosphere and aroma of delicious food permeate the air as they eat, drink and chat. It remains a focal place for the students for rest and refreshment. Menus of different varieties for both day vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Students are free to design the menus on a request to the Principal/ Chief Warden. The canteen opens from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm.

The college has health care of students is given top priority on our campus. An in-house dispensary is kept open at all times to attend to emergency needs. Parents are informed if the problem is serious. In the residential campus, doctor visits daily to look after the health needs of students. If necessary, the problems are referred to specialists, Student's are transferred to a city hospital under specialists care in case of any serious problem. A qualified staff nurse stays on the campus to attend to sick students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for all the students.

The college has operates buses to pick up and _ pupils. The buses are operated by experts and maintained by the transport manager. Safety and punctuality are fully guaranteed.

The sole objective of this Club is to create a society without HIV / AIDS and also to generate awareness among students and teachers.
