Mother Theresa College, Thiruvananthapuram

The college has a library facility for all students.  The library started functioning in 2014 and was partially automated in 2015, to meet the study, teaching, and research needs of the students and staff of the college. It has a seating capacity of 80 students and a separate area for faculty members. Books are cataloged and classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme. The library has an adequate collection of reference sources and journals. Almost 1000 books are added to the collection every year.

The college has five laboratories for the students - one for Chemistry, two for Physics, one for Computer Science, and one for English with 37 computers. All laboratories are well-equipped with experimental facilities as per the revised syllabus 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The college has software installed in the English Language Lab (E Tail Networks Limited), in the computer lab (MS Office, Linux, Tally, Adobe InDesign, Libre Office, Web Design, My SQL, HyperText Preprocessor –PHP), in the library (KOHA) and in the Department of Mathematics (LATEX and SAGEMATH). 

The college has a Department of Physical Education with a permanent faculty. In addition, the college has arranged the facility of a part-time coach to train and guide the students in various sports activities. A first-aid facility is also maintained in the college for the treatment of minor injuries.

Indoor sports facilities: The Mar Gregorios block has a room with enough indoor sports equipment for engaging the students in various indoor games like carroms, chess, and table tennis.

Outdoor sports facilities: The college also has infrastructure facilities for engaging the students in various outdoor sports. It includes one volleyball court, two badminton courts, separately for boys and girls, one basketball court, and a playground for athletics and football. There is also a separate

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. A wellness room with a first-aid facility is arranged for students.

The college has 23 classrooms out of which 7 are ICT-enabled and equipped with LCD projectors. The college classrooms have Wi-Fi facilities and CCTV surveillance.

The college has fiber optic internet connectivity and a Wi-Fi facility with a speed of 100 Mbps.

The College has an alumni association (OSAM) the college is a registered body and is active in facilitating alumni networks and providing support for the present students. After graduation, while some students opt for placement in professional organizations, many pursue higher studies.

The college has a girls’ hostel within the campus premises.

The college has a transport facility for all students and staff. Three college buses for staff and students.

The college has a parking facility for all students and staff separately.
