The college has a laboratory equipped with specialized tools, equipment, and instruments that are essential for conducting research and experimentation. This includes things like microscopes, test tubes, beakers, pipettes, centrifuges, spectrometers, various other instruments and equipment, and computers.

The college Sports and culture are closely intertwined, with both having a significant impact on each other. NBSXC promotes cultural exchange and understanding. Sports can bring people from different backgrounds together and foster a sense of unity and acceptance. Similarly, culture can shape the way sports are played and provide a unique platform for countries to showcase their cultural heritage. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a large canteen named X-TASY with additional open-air seating arrangements in the shadow of tall palm trees near the bank of Korotova River where students can meet in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere outside classroom hours. The canteen provides snacks and hot and cold beverages throughout the day. In addition, at lunchtime students can enjoy meals from a selection of food items within their budget.

The college campus has a large auditorium with a seating capacity of about 1000. It hosts all major events ranging from the X-extravaganza (cultural festival), X-Cellence day (College Day), X-exuberance (Annual Sports), Farewell, Annual Convocation, etc.

The College has spacious and well-equipped laboratories for Zoology, Microbiology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics and Geography provided with sophisticated modern instruments and apparatus for smooth execution of practical classes.

The college Alumni meeting of North Bengal St. Xavier’s College was held on the 26th of December, 2013. This meeting was preceded by two earlier meetings on 9th March 2013 and 16th October 2013. The initial meeting was attended by more than 50 alumni. On 26th December it was unanimously decided by the General Body that the Association will be called Xavier’s Alumni Association of North Bengal (XAANOB). The first Governing Body of the Association was formed with the following Office-bearers: Fr. Cherian Padiyara, S.J. (President), Anirban Modak (Vice President), Priyanka Karmakar (Secretary), Rajarshi Mahalanobis (Asstt. Secretary), and Debjyoti Dey Sarkar (Treasurer). The other members of the Governing Body are Fr. Wilfred Lobo, S.J (Nominee of Founder Body), Prof. Arindam Metia, Prof. Asim Mitra, and Dr. Hadida Yasmin and among students Pooja Pareek, Abhilasha Jaiswal, Maria Nandi, Kaushani Mandal, and Ashish Baja.

The college has college provides transport facilities (Bus Service) from Bagdogra, Shivmandir, Matigara, and Siliguri to the college campus. Another "parent-supported" bus service is provided from Jalpaiguri Townto the College Campus. A fleet of well-furnished college buses is available for both students and staff
