The College has Health Education is a process that empowers people to develop a capability of self-health-care(physical, mental, and social health) through self-reliance(using available resources) and social responsibility. So health education is given due importance and the Student teachers are instructed to practice Yoga and Pranayama to maintain absolute health. Health awareness programs are conducted regularly.

The college has a library that has a collection of more than 9000 Volumes, 16 printed periodicals, and more than 600 online periodicals which are subscribed regularly to provide the latest information on the various subjects of study. All the books are classified and arranged as per the DDC Classification system. The Library is fully computerized with a barcode facility. MODERN LIB Software is used for Computerization purposes. Digital Library: Greenstone Software is used for Digital Library Development which helps the user to access resources by the search of title, author, keyword, etc. This section also contains subject-related video and audio cassettes. DELNET (Developing Library Network) is used for Inter-Library Loan purposes and from which users are provided with more than 600 full-text International online Journals.

The college has a sports facility to play Volleyball, Football, Cricket, and other indoor games. The students also get guidance to improve their performance in the field and track events.

The College computer lab is equipped with 50 computers. The students also develop skills in preparing and using computer-assisted instruction programs. The lab has a printing facility and internet connectivity. The students identify websites relating to the school curriculum.

The college has a hygienic canteen run by the Management on the campus to cater to the needs of the students and staff.

The college has a transport facility. six buses run from different parts of the city. The bus fare is concessional and the areas covered are BHEL, Srirangam, Tolgate, Chatham Bus Stand, Puthur, and Trichy Junction.

The college alumni have contributed significantly to the growth in the stature of Oxford College of Education and for making known its reputation as a college providing quality teacher education. The College has been holding frequent alumni get-togethers. Several formal and informal interactions are planned for the future. Science Lab (Physical Science & Biological Science): The Science lab Student Teachers are trained in scientific processes such as observation, experimentation, demonstration, and drawing inferences from them in our well-equipped Science lab. Language Laboratory: With a view to improving proficiency in the English language, the trainees are encouraged to use the language lab. The language lab is equipped with headphones, audio, and video systems to develop communication skills.
