The college has a central and well-furnished library on the ground floor. The library consists of more than 15000 texts and reference books on various subjects for Junior and Senior college students. We house books for everything. The college library also includes the facilities of rich online Journals, 15 Indian Journals, and Magazines. Textbooks and other required books are purchased in multiple copies. The library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to facilitate the students and members of staff for optimum utility with books for everything. Apart from these services, every department has a library that only the faculty members can use. The recent collection includes Audio-Video materials to cater to the changing needs of the staff and student fraternity.

The college has a Sports facility and many sports activities in Mumbai for an active student lifestyle. Lace up your shoes, wear your sports gear, and put on the sweatbands. The College Computer laboratory at Prakash College is a state-of-the-art lab equipped with the latest software and workstations. It is connected to high-speed, broadband internet to facilitate all the students. Robust servers are connected through a structured network to handle the load. Printer and copier facilities are also available in the lab. Our dedicated faculty and staff are proud of their impressive credentials, comparable to those of the best career instructors in nationally accredited schools and colleges nationwide. The innovative lighting system allows a new way of illumination through an integrated and dynamic space within architecture. This creates a different perspective and gives the computer lab a decorative finish. The computer lab has a new audiovisual screen for the benefit of students and teachers. The college has house state-of-the-art laboratory for physics and an updated laboratory for chemistry,  biology, and computers for our students who are willing to create new collective knowledge and foster the next generation of scientific leaders. We harness the best of modern technology to support the intellectual curiosity of our students and faculty and to bestow the best laboratory experience. 

The college classrooms are large and capable of accommodating a large number of students without cramming them up. All classrooms are well equipped with all modern technologies required to make the teaching-learning process fruitful such as LCD screens and PPTs used in our fully air-conditioned classrooms for effective teaching. Also, every classroom is impeccably furnished to accommodate 150 laptops at a time for I.T lectures to be conducted in the class itself and turn the class into an I.T. lab.

The college club was started to create social awareness and enhance students’ understanding of the interdependence of human beings and our environment through various activities at Prakash College. To sensitize and mobilize students’ participation in the preservation and conservation of the environment, the Nature Club organizes multiple number of competitions that bring students closer to nature and make them realize the importance of an eco-friendly environment.
