Princess Durru Shehvar College of Nursing, Hyderabad

The college has a girls' hostel facility, which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a fully equipped sick room with a trained nurse available in the hostel for the care of sick students in emergencies.  The students of PDSCON also avail facilities of the Princess Durru Shehvar Children's & General Hospital for medical treatment whenever required.   First aid boxes are available in the office, hostel, and buses for emergency care. 

The college has a spacious, well-ventilated, and well-stacked library that has a good collection of professional books, journals, and light reading material for the reference and borrowing convenience of the staff and students.

   The library also subscribes to 17 professional journals, 4 light reading materials, and two daily newspapers.

The college has trained in the application and use of computers under expert guidance in health care and nursing education. Adequate numbers of computers, printers, and scanners backed by UPS systems and generators are provided in the computer lab. The students are also trained to use the Internet.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has several fully equipped laboratories for imparting quality education to the students as per the rules of the Indian Nursing Council.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has its transport facility comprising buses and vans to transport students for all outdoor visits and field trips.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college has well-ventilated and furnished classrooms with a comfortable seating capacity for 50 students per class are provided for lectures and demonstrations.  Each class is equipped with charts, overhead projectors, and blackboards.  Attached toilets and hand-washing facilities are also available in each class.
