The College provides a well-stocked library with a collection of the latest books and journals which the faculty uses efficiently to provide the comprehensive and latest information to the students. Students are also encouraged to use the library independently which enhances their knowledge

The College From the very beginning, Purnea College, Purnia has excelled in sports activities such as football, hockey, kho-kho, cricket, and other athletics as well as indoor games. The college has been participating in various intra and inters university-level tournaments and won several tournaments of kho-kho, hockey, football, etc., as first and second prizes in the B.N. Mandal University. In sports, the college provides indoor games infrastructure to students

The College has two well-developed computer labs in BCA with nearly 55 computers (including desktops and laptops). The ratio of the computer and student in the computer lab is nearly 1:1 in one batch of practical classes. The staff also has free access to the internet so that they can enrich their knowledge and then in turn the students can benefit from their experience and knowledge.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college is almost 65 years old with a heritage campus, the old administrative block was HEIZ Kothi of British collector, Despite being an old institution, the college has a modern, well equipped and up-to-mark technology-enabled auditorium for special seminars. The seating capacity of the hall is around 300 persons which includes the seating capacity of the gallery.

The College there are two boys' hostels: a 54-bed boy`s hostel is located on the campus and a 100-bed welfare hostel for boys is located in Prabhat Colony about 2 km. away from the main campus

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The College arrangements for first aid and medical care are fully available for the staff as well as the students inside the campus and in the hospital near the college in case of any serious medical emergency.
