Radhamadhab College, Silchar

The College has a health care facility for students. The center provides the students of the college with periodical health checkups and other necessary advice from a physician to keep their health fit. The center organizes talks, health awareness programs, etc. for the benefit of the students. The center conducts a blood-group diagnosis of the students and students are also provided with blood-group identity reports to be made use of in emergencies. The Hematological (CVC) profile of the individual student is also prepared after conducting several specialized blood-related tests with the help of a Laboratory technician at Silchar Medical College.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college Library is housed with 17000 books and 30 periodicals, along with several leading national and local dailies. The library has created an online Database of its total collection using SOUL, 2.0 and is fully automated with computerized processing and circulation services. An Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) has been created by the library, through which books can be searched (with keywords) through the computer, giving the exact location of the book in the library.  

The college's philosophical cornerstone is a “Healthy mind in a healthy body” and the multi-dimensional development of young students. Keeping this in mind, Radhamadhab College is creating an excellent facility for games and sports. Facilities for indoor and outdoor games like Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Table tennis, etc. are available. Various incentives are given to outstanding sportspersons. The sports section of the college is affiliated with the District Sports Association, Silchar.

The College has a Computer Centre where faculty members and administrative staff are provided a basic knowledge of computers. The Centre provides training on basic knowledge of computers to the students of TDC 1st Semester. The students of the college have also got free access to internet facilities.

The College Centre also organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Programme for the female students and the family members of the students in collaboration with the Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in the College Auditorium.

The college Alumni Association is keenly associated with the college activities and sometimes comes forward with valuable suggestions. Some alumni frequently visit the college and interact with the students, and teachers and share their academic experiences to enrich the whole academic exercise.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS.

The college has 20 (twenty) classrooms with separate rooms for pass and honors courses along with projectors and other ICT facilities installed in some rooms.

The College has Club Facilities for the Students.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
