The college Sikshanamandira is a residential institution, its hostel plays an important part in its training Programme. The college and the hostel form a single unit, though both function autonomously. Therefore, it goes without saying that the trainees should abide by not only the rules and discipline of the College but also those of the hostel.

The college has a Vidyarthi-Vrata Homa, Bhatrivarana, Republic Day Celebration, Independence Day Celebration, Saraswati Puja, Saradotsava, Reunion of Ex-Students (organized by the Alumni Association), Exhibition, National Youth Day Celebration, Rabindra Jayanti, Netaji's Birthday Celebration, Seminars, symposiums, and Workshops are organized in the college throughout the year. Students take part in those programs apart from their regular academic experiences. Students get exposure vividly due to various project-related activities. Belur Math organizes various spiritual, religious, and cultural programs at both national and international level around the year in which our students take part actively. Students are also get involved in various service and outreach activities like Relief Work etc. conducted by Ramakrishna Mission Saradapitha and the institution.

The college's Motivation for the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of prospective employers for the college's graduating students.
