Rural Institute of Higher Studies, Bhograi

The college provides Hostel facilities for female students. Selection for admission into the Hostel is made for one session based on merit, conduct, and distance. An exception may be considered in the case of Government servants and employees on transfer. Admission into the Hostel will be given after the college admission. Seats will be allotted to the selected candidates upon the production of money receipts against their Hostel admission.

The college has a library for all students. The library is the most attractive section of the college, with more than 23,676 books and journals sponsored.

Rural Institute of Higher Studies Bhograi has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students. One dedicated Computer Lab has been established in this college with 34 computers exclusively available for students.

The college has One a Computer Education Centre has been opened in this college with the approval of the Director, H. E. Deptt. we 01-12-2001. To cater to the requirements of the general student in a line of their training in Computer Education, students of +2 and +3 Arts / Science/Commerce wings can avail the opportunity of such training with the minimum cost of expenses as a part of additional Diploma and Certificate Courses, along with the interdisciplinary courses. It also extensively helps the staff of our college by providing such training to one teaching staff and one non-teaching staff each & every year, free of cost. This faculty adds as part of the Professional efficiency of the staff.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility, providing good accommodations for the students. A border may be rusticated from the Hostel on the report of the Superintendent for gross misconduct. The allotment of seats in the hostel is the discretionary power of the Supt.

The College also has a smart classroom with a computer, projector, and net facilities for learning purposes. It has 50. All science departments have a computer with printer facilities, and the education department has a computer for advanced learning. The institute also has an IT infrastructure for academic purposes
