The college has an extensive hostel facility for boys, which provides adequate accommodation to students coming from far. The hostels provide healthy, hygienic living spaces and are congenial to the well-being of the students. There are three boys’ hostels (Aurobinda Hostel, Rabindra Hostel, and Vivekananda Hostel). A hostel facility is also offered to S.C./S.T. candidates, and a hostel (Vivekananda) is exclusively designated for this purpose. The students have to apply for a hostel facility at the time of admission. A list is then prepared, giving special preference to students coming from far. These hostels are run by the personal messing system, with seat rent and electricity charges being collected regularly.

The college has arranged for a health check-up camp every week, where a local doctor goes over the health problems of the students and provides them with the necessary medicine and advice.

The college has a well-equipped gymnasium where the students undergo regular training under a trainer.

The college has a well-stocked central library consisting of more than 30000 approx books and is spread over an area of 300 square meters. The number of books is always on the rise as every year new books are added to the list. The library also has a pretty well-stocked journal section (National level), and it is fully computerized with a Bar Coding System and Wi-Fi internet facilities, and has acquired and installed SOUL 2.0 from the INFLIBNET Centre. To provide e-resources to students, researchers, and other faculty members of the college have subscribed to the NLIST program. Online access to 6000+ journals, 97000+ ebooks, and periodicals can be made. There is a well-lighted reading section where the students can profitably utilize their leisure time. Besides, there exists an internal reading area for the benefit of the teachers. Moreover, provision is made for departmental seminar libraries, where reference books are kept to satisfy an immediate requirement.

The college has a well-supplied gymnasium with a well-qualified instructor, wherein the students are trained. Besides, the college also encourages outdoor games such as football, cricket, and volleyball. Annual sports competitions are held to detect talented sports prospects of the college and to encourage them further.

The College office and library are fully computerized for all types of activities. All the departments have at least one computer used by the teachers and students for the Internet: The college has broadband internet facilities in the office, library, computer center, and in all the departments. Students can avail themselves of that facility when accompanied by a teacher.

The college provides a canteen facility where good-quality food is provided at an economical price.

The college has one seminar hall equipped with a laptop, LCD-projector, and audio system, where seminars and large meetings are organized.

The College has to do something; motivation is vital and comes from the instance of something that was obtained. The young generation can do anything with their motivation. Motivation can only be relayed from the seniors in a particular field. Thus, proper communication between seniors and juniors is important to share ideas. On this realization, ex-students of the College have formed an alumni association among themselves. Earnestly, this association has been lending its co-operation to the College, offering an opportunity for feedback from its successful students of the past, with its gradual enrichment by the addition of more new ex-students of the College. The college approaches this association to extend its goodwill and knowledge towards the overall betterment of the college. This idea came from the seniors due to their enthusiasm and willingness who are willing to take on the organizational initiative and sustain it. They have shown interest in the sensible nucleus of alumni and friends of the organization to participate in the association's activities. Once a student graduates from this College, they are entitled to be a member of the Saldanha College Alumni Association. After the membership, an alumnus is entitled to participate in all Saldiha College Alumni Association programs, events, and activities.

The College has Wi-fi facility available in the college campus, particularly in the Administrative block, Library, and Departments. 

The College has all the science departments that possess their own specific and well-equipped laboratories. The college has, of its own, a well-furnished and fully decorated airy Guest House on the college campus for the comfortable accommodation of honorable and distinguished guests hailing from different places, off and on, on important occasions, or for examination purposes.

The college has a well–constructed vehicle parking shed where the students can keep their cycles safely.

The College has more than twenty-one classrooms of different sizes, including one hall for a large population of students. All the classrooms are well equipped with light, a fan, and black or green boards. Some of the classrooms have provision for teaching-learning activities using Overhead Projectors, laptops, and LCD projectors. 

The College has two Digital Classrooms, which are equipped with Laptops, LCD Projectors, special interactive screens, software, and arrangements for visual exhibition of hard copies. Teachers from several disciplines use these classrooms, and students enjoy learning lessons in these special technology-enabled spaces.
