Sanatana Dharma College, Alappuzha

The College's hostel facility for girls has an accommodating capacity of 150. The hostel has a library, a mess hall, a cable TV connection, and free Wi-Fi. Newspapers and recreational activities are available for the students to refresh their minds after rigorous schedules. The hostel is controlled by the warden and matron.

The College has a multi-gymnasium on campus. Students can utilize the gym facility to maintain their physical health.

The College has a well-maintained library with more than fifty thousand books, periodicals, e-journals, e-books, an e-cataloguing system, an automated book lending system, and N-LIST/INFLIBNET membership is available on the campus. The College sports facility has a physical education department for major sports and games like water sports, Power Lifting, Cricket, basketball, Table Tennis, Shuttle Badminton, Kabaddi, and Athletics.

The College. There are over 147 computers, of which 135 are connected to the LAN via an underground optical fibre cable. The laptops in all departments are provided with Wi-Fi facilities. The college has LCD projectors and printers across various departments.

The College has a Canteen facility that has been provided on the campus with food at subsidized rates to students. Separate seating facilities are available in the canteen for the convenience of the students and staff. A committee consisting of staff and students supervises the functioning of the canteen.

The College has three IT-enabled seminar halls, and auditoriums are also present on the campus for conducting seminars, conferences, cultural events, and more.

The College Alumni Association conducts alumni meets, gathering everyone together with their families. The college alumni play a prominent role in the advancement of the college through their valuable contributions to experience and networking for students.

The College A convenience store is present on the campus for providing textbooks, notebooks and other stationery to students at reasonable prices throughout working hours. Staff members have membership in the store. Masks, sanitisers, sanitary pads, soap, and other hygiene products are offered with a Photostatting facility.

The College has sufficient parking spaces for two-wheelers and four-wheelers for students and faculty. The facility is provided near the entrance of the college.

The College has several clubs that coordinate the students’ extracurricular activities. These clubs function under the stewardship of teachers. They organize various programs in their specific areas with the active involvement of students.
