Santhiram Engineering College, Kurnool

The College has residents of the boys’ hostel, who have a very secure and homely environment. They are given all that is required for their peaceful and enthusiastic living. The boys in the hostel are from diverse cultures and regions of the state and nation. Besides providing amiable campus living, SREC boys’ hostel looks forward to supporting the physical and mental fitness of the students by facilitating a gym, an indoor stadium, and yoga classes. 

The College girls’ hostel is known for its safety and security for the nonresidential students who want to study engineering in a home-like environment. Besides the facilities like spacious rooms, wifi, internet, and refrigerators supplying mineral water, SREC girls’ hostel takes special care of female students.  

The College has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. Full-time medical officers are made available on the Campus to take care of students in any type of medical facility and are available all the way through, providing free medicines to sick students. A Medical Lab facility is also available, along with the necessary equipment, in an emergency.

The College  Central Gym for men is equipped with bodybuilding equipment. All Gyms and Fitness centers are open both in the Morning and Evening hours. A Healthy Body and a Healthy Mind with Yoga: Yoga sessions are conducted for students to help them maintain both a Healthy mind and body.

The College library, housed in an area of about 620 sq m., is a nerve center of activity. It has a collection of 2895 titles & 19958+ volumes & it subscribes to 125+ journals (national and international) besides several dailies & periodicals. The library has a seating capacity of 120 members.

The College has sports facilities for all students.

The College's central computer lab is colleges to cater to the research and learning needs of the students and staff. Whoever is associated with the college can be given permission to access the systems at this lab. The lab is installed with 60 high-configuration systems of high configuration; all the students and scholars make use of this facility for preparing their research papers.

The College cafeteria at college makes available all the obligatory food items such as regional Tiffins & meals, fast foods, and a few western foods at reasonable prices. The cafeteria with all types of healthy foods at affordable prices is made available on the campus to make students, staff, and visitors comfortable having breakfast, lunch, or snacks with no effort going far away from the college. 

The College has A central air-conditioned and well-furnished conference hall with all required audio-visual facilities is another valuable asset to the college. The conference hall has a seating capacity of 500+ audience with a clear view of the stage area. Clear and high-definition audio-visual aids are arranged to achieve digital clarity in voice and display. 

The College has more than 40+ buses that are made available to the students and the faculty for travel to college from various points in the city and the suburbs of Nandyal town and Kurnool city. All the nonresidential students are made to use the college Transport facility for their safe journey. This facility also makes it possible to start the class work on time and thereby helps the academic process bear fruitful results. 

The College has good networking for the alumni association.

The College Santhiram Engineering College, Kurnool, has a Wi-Fi facility for students and staff. All the systems in labs in college are connected in a Local Area Network, and free Wi-Fi is facilitated to connect to the laptops for making the students’ project documentation, research, etc..

The College has well-established and state-of-the-art laboratories with sophisticated equipment, supplementing the academic needs of the students.

The College has a State Bank of India Extension Counter on Campus. This helps all Students and Faculty to have safer and faster banking transactions uninterruptedly and ideally. The college has an ATM facility within the campus running 24X7. The post office is also an additional facility added to the campus for the comfortable transmission of letters and any necessary documents, and money orders. 

The College has a well-furnished guest house for the delegates, guests, and respectable personalities who visit the college. The guest house is made available with all basic requirements, proper transportation is provided to the guests who stay in the guest house, and a faculty member is entrusted to take care of the guests during their stay. 

The College students’ store provides all of the required stationery, materials, snacks, and other needed things for students and staff. The store is handled by permanent staff to maintain updated and quality materials regularly. The prices and the stock are scrutinized by the internal observer every year on a specific day, and the prices of the materials are made convenient and reasonable with zero profit.

The College Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the Santhiram Engineering College, Kurnool.
