The College library is housed in a spacious hall comprising the reference hall and stack area with a spacious reading room. The library of SD has a total strength of more than 2,00,000 publications. The Libraries also contain audiovisual facilities. The college has a collection of Books, Journals, Research Papers, and Periodicals in various fields of Education. It also includes information that is useful for teaching and reference purposes. Every college has its library in SD.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The institute runs a common mess on a contract basis, but under the supervision and guidance of the institute to provide hygienic and nourishing food to students.

Management encourages both outdoor and indoor games with the support of playgrounds for cricket, football, badminton, hockey, lawn tennis, etc. For indoor games, table tennis, chess, carom boards, etc., are also provided.
