The Music Club of the Serampore Girls’ College was formed by the Governing Body dated 5.5.2022- in the academic session 2021-2022. Friedrich Nietzsche once stated, “Without music, life would be a mistake”. Music is a pleasant sound that is a combination of melodies harmony and rhythm. The art of Music is a medium to create a feeling of cohesion or social connectedness. Music has been used as a therapeutic tool to treat a variety of disorders including cardiac conditions, depression, autism, substance abuse, and Alzheimer’s disease. It can also help with memory, lower blood pressure, improve coping, reduce stress, improve self-esteem, and more.
