Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College has a medical room where basic medical aid is provided to students and faculty members. The medical room has a qualified nurse. In case an emergency doctor is also available on call.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College library is a three-storey building. The library has a reading hall with a seating capacity of 180 people. There are around 1 lakhs books and 100 national and international journals in the library.  Furthermore, the library has a separate e-resource facility for students and faculty members.

The campus has a basketball court, lawn tennis court and a field used for multiple sports like cricket, football, hockey etc. The college also has provision for indoor sports. SBSC Delhi sports facilities help students in refreshing their minds amid hectic schedules.

The college has a robust IT infrastructure for students. The computer labs of the college have updated systems with the latest software and hardware. Furthermore, the library of the college also has an e-resource for students and faculty members.

A spacious and well-ventilated canteen is situated at the campus. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College canteen serves a variety of healthy snacks and beverages at subsidised rates. Hygiene is maintained in the canteen mess. The canteen is one of the popular spots for students to hang out and chill.

The institute has two seminar halls and one conference hall. Both seminar halls and conference hall are equipped with modern facilities. College’s seminars, workshops, guest lectures are conducted at the seminar hall.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College alumni association was established in 2010. Currently, there are 1200 members in the alumni association. Various events are conducted by the college alumni association. It also offers a scholarship to the students.

The Department of Commerce and Mathematics has modern computer labs. There are over 115 laptops equipped with various software and applications required as per the course curriculum. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College lab facilities consist of projects and audiovisual systems as well. The Department of Geography also has a dedicated lab.

The college premises has a photocopy shop for the convenience of the students.

For the convenience of the students and faculty members, the college campus has a branch of the Union Bank of India.

The classrooms of the college are ventilated and spacious. 14 classrooms of SBSC have projectors. It makes learning easy and increases productivity.
