The college library As gateways to knowledge and culture, libraries play a fundamental role in an institution. The college has a spacious library which is well-ventilated, air-conditioned, and well-illuminated for readers, and has more than 12,000 books pertaining to various subjects. The college library subscribes to 9 newspapers,15 magazines, and 16 journals in hard copy form. The college subscribes to 6000 e-journals,1,64,300 e-books through N-list, and 8-e Newspapers which can be accessed through the e-Resourse center. The college also provides a Book Bank facility. The Book Bank has 2185 textbooks. 

The college has sports Physical Education is an integral part of education which gives instructions in the development and cure of human body. It includes simple exercises up to the course of study providing training in hygiene, gymnastics, and performance and management of athletic events/ games/ sports. It provides organized instruction in motion activities, physical growth, health, and body image of the individual. Further, it is part of education through physical activities for the development of the total personality of college students to it is fullness and perfection in body, mind, and spirit. The Department of physical education in SGGSJ GOVT. COLLEGE PAONTA SAHIB is committed to achieving objectives in games, sports, and overall personality development. There has been significant progress in terms of achievements in different events as well as in the infrastructure of this department. As of late, there is an adequate playground (football, basketball, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, athletics), etc. There is a well-equipped gymnasium to prepare players/sports persons and students of physical education department. In terms of physical fitness, strength, and endurance, these facilities provide a vast base for budding players and sports persons. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College Canteen has always been an attraction in an Institution. Apart from providing food items, students and staff find here a good place to relax and share ideas. 

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College Alumni Association has been recently constituted and registered under the Himachal Pradesh Societies Registration Act.

The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled.

The college has laboratories, but these may not be sufficient for pursuing high-quality research work in sciences by the faculties.
