The college has a Library System consisting of a Central Library and 6 departmental libraries which collectively support the teaching and research programs of the Institute. Central Library manages knowledge, both in print and digital formats, ensures seamless discovery and access to these scholarly resources, and provides faculty, students, and staff with professional support to find, evaluate, manage, and use such resources. It provides a high-quality ambiance for both reflective and collaborative work and study. The Library, besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science, and humanities, offers library services through its various Divisions and is used by more than 1700 members and others. All students, faculty members, and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities by taking library membership. The library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals, and non-book material in science, engineering, technology, humanities, social sciences, and management. Collection building – a core activity of the library- has been transforming. From a print-only environment where all our acquisitions were in hard copy format, it has shifted to print-and-online and to online-only formats. Initially set up in 1983, the Central Library moved to its new building in May 2005 having an area of 758 square feet.

The college has Besides giving importance to imparting technical knowledge to the students, the college encourages co-curricular activities in the fields of sports and culture. The students have facilities to play Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Basketball, etc., in the vast playground provided on the campus.

The college has a Facility of a Canteen on the College Campus and a Mess. These are attached to the Hostel. A separate seating arrangement for girls and staff is available. It works at par and provides quality food at subsidized rates.

The college has open and enclosed Auditoriums to accommodate 1500 to 4000 Students for Gathering, Cultural, & Other Activities. Annual Social Gathering ‘Spandhan’ is held with intercollegiate, cultural competitions
