Both non-vegetarian & vegetarian food is available on the basis of the requirement of the students. Good hygienic condition is strictly maintained both in the food and living conditions. Hostel superintendents supervise the functioning of the Hostels regularly. The hostel fees are as per the guidelines of the state Govt. of Odisha.

The college has a library that plays a vital role in the dissemination of Knowledge and Information in an academic institution. SIET has recognized the importance of the academic vibrations required in the library and has been growing in this direction, right from its very inception. The library is equipped with a Reference section that could accommodate around 500 students, a Digital library, an Audio Visual Section, a Journal Section, a conference room, a Research Scholar’s Section, a Newspaper and Magazine Section, and a Reprography Section.

The college has an excellent cafeteria with a seating capacity for more than 200 people. It has a well-planned hygienic kitchen run by a reputed caterer at administered prices. Multi-cuisine lunch and snacks are being served in the cafeteria. They provide veg and non-veg menu simultaneously on all days. A fast-food restaurant-cum-convenience store is also there.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a dispensary that provides medical aid to the hostelites and day scholars. Van facilities are available for 24 hours to meet the emergency needs of the hostelites and college. The pharmacy service is available 24 hours for hostelites, even during college hours. A full-fledged first-aid treatment is given on campus to attend to the needy. The college has also made arrangements with doctors to attend emergency cases at all times. The college has many support services for the benefit of the students as well as staff. In event of arising of any emergency, a college van along with a one-night duty driver is kept in attendance after college hours. General medical checkups of newly admitted students besides treating day-to-day problems of students as well as staff members and faculties.Fully furnished restroom as provided in the girls’ hostel and also boys’ hostel. All the first-aid treatments for fever, headache, and muscle pain are given as quickly as possible. The medicines are purchased regularly as per requirement. The medicine stocks are checked every week.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.
