Sir CRR College for Women, Eluru

The College administration puts in all efforts to help the students feel at home in terms of the comforts and concerns of the hotel personnel. Eco-friendly environment, encouraging academic environment, uncompromising quality of hygiene, steam cooking, safe drinking water, round-the-clock security, availability of qualified doctors and resident wardens, indoor games facilities, and uninterrupted power supply- all these ensure a very safe and secure stay for the student. At present, three blocks of hostels provide accommodation to 1000 students with all the facilities.

The College has a Library with 148.40 sq. mts available for MCA and other PG students. A library with 100 sq. mts available for MBA. students. Library with 200 sq. mts available for Degree students.

The College has excellent laboratory infrastructural facilities, and the students can get first-hand experience as they are trained in laboratories to enhance their practical skills. The college has a modern state-of-the-art language lab to develop the communication and managerial skills of its students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a gymnasium with equipment useful for girls, which is provided on the campus.

The college has a fully-fledged Physical Training Department for the students. The department offers training to the students in various sports and games by well-experienced and qualified Physical Education directors. The college playground has courts for Handball, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Basketball, badminton, and Running Track. Besides, indoor game facilities are also available in the campus housing with a gymnasium, table tennis, Chess, carrom board, etc. facilities. Every year, inter-college sports and games are conducted in the college. The students of the college also participate in various sports and games competitions elsewhere to represent the college. We encourage our students to participate in sports. Several playgrounds and courts are available for regular practice. Expert coaching is provided for promising athletes/sports persons.

The college Alumni Association was formed on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Sir CRR College for Women in the year 2012-13, with the president as Koney Vani, Vice President K Vijaya Lakshmi, and several other members. Lecturers who have completed 25 years of service were felicitated by the association members. 78 students have been registered since then.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The College has 14 buses operating in and around Eluru to facilitate the students coming to the college from remote rural areas.

There is sufficient area for parking. For buses & cars, there are 6 acres of land kept available inside the compound wall. A closed shed with an area of 2000 sq. It has been constructed and is used for parking 2-wheelers on the campus only.

The College provides Internet facilities for all the users in the College, including teachers, administrative staff, hostels, as well as students. The Internet facility on the College campus is a 40 Mbps speed from BSNL. In addition to this, there are  100 Mbps Broadband Connections.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college's Motive for the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
