Library

The library is fully automated in the bar-coding facility. The library which has an open-access system is committed to using technology in efficient and innovative ways. The library has a wide collection of the latest books, encyclopedias, periodicals, CDs, Thesis, Journals and Newspapers. The subjects covered from a wide spectrum of disciplines.

Hence the information resources of the library provide information to the B. Ed., M. Ed., M. Phil. students and faculty members who pursue Ph. D. programs. It also provides information for the intellectual, cultural, spiritual, and recreational needs of the college community.

Laboratories

Physics is an experimental science. The premise of the scientific method is that (observation of) nature is the ultimate judge of the truth of any physical theory. Indeed, experiments designed to prove certain ideas have often ended up showing them to be wrong. A laboratory is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific or technological research, experiments, and measurement may be performed. A laboratory experiment is an experiment conducted under highly controlled conditions. The variable which is being manipulated by the researcher is called the independent variable and the dependent variable is the change in behavior measured by the researcher.

I.T Infrastructure

The College has a well-equipped Computer Laboratory, which caters to the needs of the teacher educators and student teachers of the college. There are 20 multimedia computers in the laboratory connected through a LAN., Wifi facilities and Internet connection for each system are available. The Computer Laboratory is used for multifarious purposes. It is used for giving orientation about computers to the student teachers and is open for accessing the internet by all the teacher educators and all the student teachers of the college.

Sports

Physical education refers to the process of imparting systematic instructions in physical exercise, sports, games, and hygiene. It aims to train the body, mind, and conduct of our teacher educators. To keep a healthy mind within a healthy body; a teacher educator needs regular physical exercises.

Trained coaches encourage the teacher educator to try a wide selection of sports and games like table tennis, football, badminton, chess, carom, karate, athletics, kho-kho, and cricket, etc. This promotes our students to strengthen themselves, and additionally develop flexibility; eye-hand and eye-foot coordination as well as muscular endurance.

Students are also encouraged to take part in inter-college competitions. Our staff members are delegated to guide and accompany the teams for tournaments at District, State, and National levels. It is a matter of pride that Spice Valley students regularly emerge victorious in several events.

Classrooms

Classrooms at TCP are well furnished and are technologically equipped for the purpose of teaching and learning.

Each classroom has an LCD projector through which the teacher educator imparts lessons in the form of PowerPoint presentations and multimedia packages. As the entire campus is wifi enabled, the teacher educators also utilize online educational resources such as youtube videos, textual content from various universities, audio clips, etc.,

Auditorium

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

Cafeteria

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

Medical/Hospital

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

Guest Room/Waiting Room

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

Alumni Associations

To keep a roster of all Alumni of the college and their pertinent data.

To encourage, foster, and promote close relations among the alumni themselves.

To promote a sustained sense of belonging to the Alma Mater among the Alumni by being in regular contact with them.
