Sree Narayana College, Chengannur

The college library has a separate library building with a reading room. The library automation is completed in 2016 with Grandha Soft 2.5 version which is very user friendly software. The library has a collection of 7764 books and open access system is followed for borrowing books.

The College has a Lady's Hostel, located within the campus with facilities to accommodate 30 inmates and a warden. The hostel has a spacious dining room and other amenities. Principal-in-Charge, Dr.M.S.Lathais the warden of the hostel, and Prof.U.S.Thushara, Department of Commerce is the Deputy Warden.

The College has Every prominent department equipped with computers with internet connectivity. Students also avail of the facilities. The Department of Commerce, the Department of Chemistry, and the Department of Physics maintain separate computer laboratories with about twenty-five computers in between them. Students are provided free accessibility to the computers and are allowed to access the net.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a multipurpose auditorium, which is roofed and properly furnished with a capacity of 400 seats. The auditorium hosts all the important meetings on the campus. It is fitted with a sufficient number of fans and lamps and an excellent public address system.

The college follows the active and efficient functioning of the Alumni Association. All departments have their own Alumni. All outgoing students are members of the Alumni Association. All students are requested to register as members of the Alumni Association at the time of leaving the college.

The college offers the facility of a multi-gym to the students. The facility streamlines its physical culture. The members of the athletic team also are provided gym time to develop their stamina and athletic powers. Hundreds of students have made use of the facility over the years. The gym is open to them after 3.30 pm every day.

The college has An internet club that functions in the college. Professor Induja P is the coordinator. The club has twenty-five members. The club explores the various uses of the internet in their academic activities as well as coordinates their course and examination registration.

The college Physical Education department promotes student participation in sports and games. Separate selection and training of teams in the games such as Cricket, Badminton, Kabaddi, Fencing, Football, and Athletic events are regularly conducted. Facilities are also provided for indoor games like Chess, Caroms, and Table Tennis. The teams are encouraged to participate in University meets and Zonal and state competitions. A full-fledged Gymnasium is functioning on the campus under the supervision of the Physical Education Department.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

The College has a Placement Cell to assist students to appear for competitive exams and interviews. The cell also arranges campus interviews for students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
