Sree Narayana College, Sivagiri

The college has a view to accommodate female students from distant places, a women’s hostel is constructed and has started functioning this year. The project was sponsored by UGC with a matching grant from our management. Out of the total cost of 40 lakhs, 25 lakhs was spent by UGC and 15 lakhs by the management.

Another project for the construction of a women’s hostel was also sanctioned by UGC for 75 lakhs.

The college has  Library is divided into the following sections:
i) Reference | ii) General | iii) Department

2. The Reference and General Sections are in the charge of a Librarian of the college.

3. The Department Libraries are under the control of the Heads of the Departments.

4. Inflibnet facility is available in the library.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has objective of the centre is to promote computer education. It offers short-term courses for the staff and the students of this college at concessional rates. It also holds workshops and seminars on computer applications. The center is managed by a committee headed by the principal.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has motive for the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange a campus visit and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.

The College has a Classroom Facility for Students with Latest Technologies.
