The college has sports facilities for all students. Sports are one of the most important aspects of JPKP. It is a platform for both boys and girls to develop their physical abilities, hone sportsmanship, and learn about teamwork. Not only that but playing sports can help children to have fun and relax after a long day of College. Indoor games such as table tennis, chess, and carom board are encouraged among children as they provide entertainment and stimulate mental abilities as well. Boys and girls alike also enjoy outdoor activities such as Kho Kho, and volleyball where boys are individually encouraged in Kabaddi which helps in socialization along with physical benefits associated with these activities. Sports are not only an enjoyable activity but they can also teach many life lessons such as how to collaborate, how to win gracefully when you succeed or lose bravely when you fail. This innate ability to strive for excellence helps individuals from all walks of life mold success in their career or personal lives.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food. From the very beginning of the College in 2013, the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. The hostellers and day scholars are provided meals to ensure food safety and quality. The students who come from faraway places, start their journey to the College early in the morning. The mid-day meal is provided. Even many day scholars use canteen facilities for their breakfast and evening tea with snacks. Presently there are 200 students in the two hostels of the College. They are provided with three meals a day. The Management of the Canteen is directly under the control of the College Administration. Students and staff of the College are benefited by the College canteen.
