The college library can be considered a storehouse of knowledge. In dictionaries, the word library has been defined as a building or room containing a collection of books. A library is a place where not only books but also journals, magazines, and newspapers are well-stocked for the benefit of the readers. A library is a boon for poor students who cannot afford to buy textbooks or other books of their interest. They can borrow these books and read or study them at ease at home. The library is thus helping society. At SRI Polytechnic College, a spacious, well-furnished library is functioning with thousands and thousands of books that can cater to all the academic needs of students pursuing Diploma courses. A reference section is devoted to assisting students in participating in competitive exams. Apart from books, several periodicals are also available for the students to enrich their knowledge.

The college aims at providing a wide range of sports activities. Sports for All is very much the philosophy with the emphasis being on enjoyment and raising of skills and expertise. To cater to the needs of the sport of students we have playgrounds and sports lounge with various indoor & outdoor game facilities. A separate area is allotted for playing games such as volleyball, badminton, cricket, athletics, etc.
