The mission of the Central Library is to facilitate the creation of new knowledge through the acquisition, organization, and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing value-added services. All students, faculty members, and employees of the Institute are permitted to make use of library facilities. The library has a huge collection of books on Engineering, Management, Science, and Humanities and offers library services through its various divisions. Central Library with a carpet area - The library has a carpet area of 1500 Sq.m. with a Digital facility that is functioning from 9:20 AM to 4 PM on all working days.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The College has a computer center that is equipped with state-of-the-art computing facilities to complement classroom pedagogy. The center has about 100 workstations running on Windows 2003, Windows 2008, XP, and Linux. All computers have 24*7 Internet connectivity with a 100 Mbps leased line.

The College cafeteria is spacious, airy, and well-ventilated. Students have a choice of menu and beverages. The fresh juice stall is the most loved joint.

The College Auditorium is well equipped and has a seating capacity of 800.

This College has 27 college buses and 8 exclusive hostel buses for the hostilities. The boarding points are spread across all corners of the city covered by 27 comprehensive routes. Every bus has a faculty in charge to ensure the safety of the students in transit.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The College gym is well-equipped and helps students and faculty stay fit at a time convenient to them.

The College Health Center is well-equipped to handle minor injuries and health issues. They have an ambulance (24X7) that caters to emergencies and serious injuries. A well-qualified doctor is available at the college premises. First aid kits are available in all labs.

The College has a guest room that allows guests to rest on the premises if required.

The College has a small store that caters to the stationery needs of the students and faculty including a reprographic facility.

The college campus Hostel offers a perfect blend of comfort and care that you can experience at your home. The hostel is located within the college premises and is exclusively for students. They have very vigilant hostel security and a caring warden for our students. The hostel is nestled amidst nature in a peaceful and serene location that offers a perfect environment to study and unwind after a tiring day at the college. The hostel consists of multiple student rooms, a common room along a common dining area. The common room has been provided with a television for entertainment and recreational purposes. Along with a caretaker to help the students when necessary, they also have a resident hostel supervisor/ warden to take care of the hostel and student needs

The training and placement department at SWEC strives to bridge the gap between the Institute and the Industry by providing an all-round development of the personality of the students with knowledge, skills, and competence essential to succeed in their careers. The department provides personal and career-oriented support to students by conducting several career-oriented workshops, soft skill training, and campus recruitment training. The effectiveness of this training is evident from the consistent placement results. Several companies have been visiting the college every year to tap and recruit young talented students. There are many students who pursue higher studies and get admission into prestigious institutions in India and overseas. The placement cell is well equipped with a conference hall, 4 interview rooms, 4 computer labs, and internet connectivity to conduct recruitment drives. The training department encourages every student to acquire practical skills in their chosen discipline along with interpersonal skills. The communication skills are enhanced through facilities like Phonetics and Communication skill labs. Apart from these resources, external trainers train and enhance the soft skills of the students.
