St John's College of Arts and Science, Ammandivilai

The college has a Library that was established in 2009. It is an important source of knowledge for young minds. The carpet area of the library is 5302 sq .ft. The number of seats in the reading space is 120. The library has been divided into various sections such as a reading room, stack room, reference area, and e-learning center. It is a collection of around 11706 books including 962 reference books,14 international and national journals, 4 Magazines, 1 English daily, 2 Tamil dailies,113 e-books, 11 open-accessed journals, 1012 projects 360 Cd’s, Thesis reports, Proceedings and Back volumes. It also enables the Johnian Community to archive their News Letters, Annual Reports, Syllabus, Course Materials, Thesis, Projects, Publications, Videos, Audio, and Semester Question Papers. Cameras are fixed for security purposes.

The library has been using the ILMS for library data management. It has been functioning since 2014 and helps to impact positively the academic achievement of the students. It is both user-friendly and cost-effective.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has Seminar hall has state-of-the-art sound systems and projector capabilities, which enable us to provide top-notch instruction and lectures. More than 100 people can fit in lecture halls, which are completely air-conditioned. It is highly equipped with ICT Facilities. Both our students and faculty have access to the seminar hall amenities, which can be used for a variety of purposes, including Presentations, Meetings, Workshops, Conferences, and Guest Lectures. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has favorite haunt of students during off hours is the spacious and well-designed Cafeteria with a suitable aesthetic touch. The cafeteria is well furnished with proper ventilation. The cafeteria is set out for the students. Even during busy hours, staff and students have access to enough seating facilities. The cafeteria features a well-kept kitchen with cooking equipment, and the kitchen staff goes above and beyond to ensure that our students have access to modern conveniences and hygienic conditions. 

The college has a Health Centre with first aid and an emergency care facility for students. The students are permitted to take rest when they are sick.

The college has rendered a significant part in Hospitality. It has 3 guest rooms, which are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities required for quality staying. The Guest can access their needs, especially for the quality intakes. The Guest Rooms are entirely equipped with an air conditioner and attached hygienic restroom 

The college has Transportation has served as a crucial part of the service backbone of the college. To cater to the needs of the commuters, the management provides full fledge transportation. The college owns the best fleet of 14 comfortable buses on different routes that provide direct connectivity from the Kanyakumari District. Transportation is provided to all the rural areas and it helps the students from downtrodden society to get proper Education. The transport facilities are modern and well equipped for comfortable travel and this impressive transportation service is offered at a nominal cost.
