St Joseph's College, Darjeeling

The college provides hostels to boys students for accommodation. Xaviers Hostel is provided for boys students. St Joseph's College Darjeeling hostel facilities are well-maintained. The hostels are equipped with basic amenities including mess facilities, recreational rooms, medical facilities and many more. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-ventilated.

The college also provides separate accommodation facilities for girls students. The Fairview Hostel is allotted to girls students. St Joseph's College Darjeeling hostel facilities are safe and well-maintained. The hostels are equipped with basic amenities including mess facilities, recreational rooms, medical facilities and many more.

The College library facilities have more than 50,000 volumes and subscribe to several professional journals. The library is open on all working days from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., except for lunch break (12 noon to 1:00 p.m.) and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturdays. Library membership is given to first-year students when they receive their college identity cards. The members of the college alumni association are allowed to use the reference section of the library with the prior permission of the Principal.

The College sports facilities include indoor and outdoor sports and playgrounds for the students. The college has gymnasium facilities, a football ground, a basketball court, a badminton court, and table tennis.

The college provides an excellent and advanced IT infrastructure. The college has ICT-enabled classrooms. It enables the students to use the latest technology and be familiar with it.

The college has canteen facilities for staff and students to provide them with fresh and hygienic food on campus at a reasonable price.

The College campus facilities have modern indoor and outdoor auditoriums for seminars, workshops, and other events. 

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The College lab facilities are well equipped with all the state-of-the-art facilities and the latest equipment. Some well-trained and experienced lab assistants help students in their practicals. This club was set up to generate environmental awareness amongst members of the College community through participation in various activities in and around the College.
